Through budget cuts, teacher shortages, limited resources, and a worldwide pandemic, the past several years have had a devastating impact on education – particularly in areas like music education that rely heavily on hands-on technique and group interaction. The crisis sparked the formation of a special partnership in 2022 between us and the nonprofit organization Keeping The Blues Alive. Founded by legendary blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa, KTBA has been able to fund music programs and initiatives that have impacted the lives of more than 100,000 students in all 50 states. They accomplish this by funding virtual Blues education classes, weekly donation projects, and musicians relief grants all over the country. To help raise awareness and crucial funds to keep their programs running, we worked with the team at Keeping The Blues Alive to create this lively Hearts of the Art t-shirt – and refreshed our design this year with a cool new Navy Heather color.
In addition to the T-shirt, we created an entire Keeping The Blues Alive section on our website that includes a KTBA Cap and a bluesy CD by rock legend Dion (who records on the Keeping The Blues Alive record label). All proceeds we receive from the sales of these special items go directly to Keeping The Blues Alive. Click here to shop the collection.
